Story

Pawprint Botanics grew from a simple question: if rooibos, buchu, and devil's claw work so well for human health, why aren't we using them for our pets? Founder Thandiwe Molefe, a botanist and holistic pet care advocate, spent three years researching traditional Khoisan remedies and modern veterinary science to develop treats that do more than just taste good. Working with veterinary herbalists and using only sustainably harvested indigenous plants, we've created functional treats that address the most common pet wellness concerns—anxiety, joint stiffness, dental health, and digestive issues. Every ingredient is chosen for efficacy and safety, with dosing calibrated for dogs and cats of all sizes. We manufacture in small batches at our Stellenbosch facility, where Thandiwe personally approves every production run. Because our pets give us their whole hearts—they deserve our whole attention to their wellbeing.
